An in-depth, historical background on RE-5 serial numbers from X00 to the end of production is currently being constructed and will be available shortly. The story will follow Suzuki's testing and prototype work from 1971 with their X series through their XPs, to the RX, and ending with the RE.

In the meantime, Rotary Recycle is showing serial numbers of RE-5s that are now in existence. This is a comprehensive listing of numbers from all over the world that have been made available to us by enthusiasts, museums, clubs, shows, and personal observance -- and we would like to share this information with the Rotary community! This report depicts the impressive number of Rotaries still out there and where they're located worldwide. And the list continues to grow with the knowledge that parts, support, and technical assistance is now available. Because of increasing web sites, chat rooms, clubs, and a host of other avenues, RE-5s are now being resurrected from basements, barns, garages, fields, and even junk yards by those who want to make them road worthy again.

This is your list! If you would like to add to the registry, please e-mail us any information at wankel@rotaryrecycle.net. We will be happy to add to the list or update information.

Thank you,
Sam Costanzo
